Are you having issues with your heating system or is your house always cold?
A thermal imaging survey can help with underlying issues within your property and can determine whether you need to improve your existing radiators or whether you have an issue with your insulation within your property.
A thermal imaging survey can identify faults that cannot be seen with the naked eye. This is because the thermal imaging camera uses an Infra-Red lens that identifies the difference in temperature between hot and cold. This will show cold spots within your property which identifies that heat is escaping these areas and the cold is getting in. |
Radiator Issues
A thermal imaging survey can also identify issues that you are having with individual radiators. Sometimes a radiator collects a lot of sludge and contamination which leads to cold spots within the radiator. This will not allow the radiator to heat up correctly and heat up the room to the required level.
Contamination and sludge build-up are not normally seen without a thermal imaging camera so its best to get a survey carried out before you consider replacing radiators. |
